Writing is enabled in the current version. Before overwriting files, the Engine creates a backup session outside the addon at:
%USERPROFILE%\.pocketmon-engine\backups\Close Minecraft.
Review every conflict on the Review step.
Apply one change at a time.
Test the addon in-game.
Keep the backup until you've confirmed everything works.
